What is cellulose insulation ?
Cellulose Insulation is made from natural wood base fibers. 80% of the content of Cellulose Insulation is processed from recycled cellulose fiber. These fiber are chemically treated with boron acid (boric acid / sodium poly borate) to create permanent flame resistance. It contains no ammonia, asbestos, galss fibre nor formaldehyde.
The additive are non-toxic, will not irritate normal skin, will not attract vermin or insects, and will not adversely affect other building materials. It is widely used in USA and Europe since 1960's.
InCide PC Pest Control Cellulose Insulation is a unique product manufactured by Hamilton Manufacturing, Inc and Fiberlite Technologies Inc., USA.
Besides the normal features of cellulose insulation, this product provides an added advantage of pest control. It is registered with EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) No. #44757-4-65049.
It has been proven 99.7% effective in killing cockroaches and is also effective in controlling ants, termites and other insects. Properly installed, Incide PC Pest Control Cellulose Insulation will retain its insecticide activity for the life of the structure, and insects cannot develop an immunity to it.
Safe !
InCide PC Cellulose Insulation is a Class 1 building material that meets safety standards of the following organisations
* U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) 16CFR Section 1209
* American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM)
* Cellulose Insulation Manufacturers Association (CIMA)
It also complies with all requirements of the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA).

Application
InCide PC Cellulose Insulation is designed for attic and wall cavity applications in new construction as well as in existing homes. It forms a blanket of interlocking fibers in the attics and creates a monolithic seal in the sidewalls eliminating air infiltration and providing maximum thermal performance.
InCide PC Cellulose Insulation resists the flow of heat in three ways. AIR IS TRAPPED
1. Within
2. By the wall of fiber
3. Between fibers creating significant resistance to air movement
This natural ability to trap air provides cellulose insulation with 25% to 40% more effective insulation power than the same R-value of other low density loose fill fiberous insulation.
Incide PC Cellulose Insulation in the attic and walls results in significant savings in electricity cost, while providing a comfortable, quiet and safe environment in your home.
ACOUSTICAL CHARACTERISTICS (SOUND INSULATION)
Cellulose has been tested at Riverbank Acoustical Laboratories for Sound Transmission Classification (STC) In full scale wall testing, cellulose effectively reduces the airborne sound from room to room.
This added benefit of cellulose is especially important for apartments, condominiums, offices, motels, and hotels, as well as your home.
Buildings insulated with cellulose have a noticeable "quietness".
The sharp sounds that easily transmit through normally insulated structures are subdued by the increased mass of the InCide PC system.
